Jesse joined Synapse in 2013 with extensive experience designing embedded digital systems with ARM Cortex-A applications processors, DDR3 and flash memories, USB, Gbit ethernet, PCIe, as well as manufacturing test system/fixture design and programming. In his time at Synapse, he has designed low power wearable and media streaming devices that employed wireless technologies including Bluetooth/BLE, WiFi 802.11AC, and GPS/GNSS.

Jesse received a BSEE from Johns Hopkins University in 2003, graduating with honors and a minor in mathematics.

In his free time, he enjoys toddler-chasing, skiing, hiking, backpacking, bicycling, and bike camping in Washington’s mountains and islands. He is also working on maintaining and restoring a 1967 Chevy Nova and a 1970’s A-frame cabin in the Cascade mountains.
