John Glauber

As a Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer, John is responsible for collaborating with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers as he helps to scale products from design to manufacturing. He is passionate about implementing sustainable design choices and helping clients choose manufacturers that will lower the overall carbon footprint of their products. John joined Synapse in 2021 as an NPI Engineer based in Seattle, WA. He has worked on a variety of projects with startups as well as Fortune 500 companies that cover robotic design, brushless DC motors, pressure sensing resistors, thermal transfer properties of PCBAs, component selection, and design for cost. Prior to Synapse, John worked as a product developer in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry where he helped to bring water filtration devices to market. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He’s passionate about backpacking trips, drumming syncopated rhythms, and Formula1.
