Samantha Morehead

Samantha joined Synapse in 2021 as a hardware engineer in the San Francisco office. She enjoys helping clients turn their innovative ideas into tangible products at all stages of the design process. Whether the client is just in the brainstorming phase or are getting a product ready for production, she is excited to deep dive into finding the best solutions for the project.

Prior to working at Synapse, Samantha started her career in the semiconductor industry as an application engineer.  Each day, she was tasked with finding solutions to customers’ design problems. This gave her experience in troubleshooting difficult design issues. Samantha also gained a lot of knowledge on the inner workings of semiconductor companies, which has proved very valuable when working with different vendors while at Synapse.

Samantha is originally from Colorado, but she moved to the Bay Area to earn her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University. In her free time, Samantha can often be found making greeting cards, crocheting, or taking a walk with her dog.
